Low-cost inkjet-printed FSS band-pass filters for 100 and 300 GHz

This study explores the feasibility and fabrication limits for sub-THz bandpass filters based on frequency selective surfaces (FSS) made using inkjet conductive ink printing. Low-cost, easy-to-make mesh filters that operate up to 300 GHz are suggested. Full-wave electromagnetic solver is utilized for the design of filters, which are then characterized using THz time-domain spectroscopy.
