Mid-Infrared Dual-Comb Spectroscopy of Volatile Organic Compounds Across Long Open-Air Paths

Volatile organic compounds are probed across up to 1 km-long open-air paths with mid-infrared dual-comb spectroscopy. Quantitative concentrations of released acetone and isopropanol and atmospheric ethane are measured with ppm·m-level sensitivities. Work of the U.S. government, not subject to copyright.
