Mission Reliability Model of Phased Array Radar System under Phased-mission

In view of the frequent faults of T/R module and the characteristics of phased-mission of phased array radar, the system is considered as a typical multi-stage k-out-of-N system to be analyzed and the phased-mission reliability model of phased array radar system is built. When the phased array radar system runs in phased-mission, it needs to undergo two processes that are the system adaptation and system assignment, then the replacement of spare parts in the two processes is discussed in following cases, finally the phased-mission reliability model of phased array radar system is established and verified. The example application shows that this model can analyze the effect of the minimum work quantity(K value), the running time of phased-mission and the amount of spare parts for system’s mission reliability. Which will provide the theoretical decision support for T/R module’ s inventory setting.
