Crystallization of Biological Macromolecules

To write about the crystallization conditions for a specific protein or nucleo-protein complex will be of no use to somebody intending to crystallize a completely different molecule or even an homologous one coming from a different organism. Therefore, the emphasis of this chapter is on the general aspects of crystallization and on practical tips concerning the source of the macromolecules, separation techniques, and crystallization conditions.
