The invention relates to an automobile idle speed and braking energy recovery system.A storage battery and air pressure energy storage are combined to store energy.An electronic control unit controls a power transmission path by controlling an electromagnetic clutch a and an electromagnetic clutch b to be switched on or off; by controlling an electromagnetic valve to be switched on or off, a pneumatic motor is controlled to work, and the pneumatic motor is connected with a rolling column type clutch mechanism.When an automobile is started, the electromagnetic clutch a is switched on, a motor/generator drives an engine flywheel to rotate as a motor; when the automobile is braked, the electromagnetic clutch b is switched on, power in the engine flywheel drives an air compressor to rotate, and braking energy is recycled in an air pressure energy storage mode; when the automobile starts to accelerate, an electromagnetic valve is switched on to release gas, the pneumatic motor is driven to rotate, and the engine flywheel is driven to rotate through gear transmission; when the automobile is in the idle speed state, the electromagnetic clutch a is switched on, a motor/engine generates power as a generator, and energy consumed in the idle speed state is recovered.
