Frequency-fixed beam-scanning microstrip leaky-wave antenna with multi-terminals

New frequency-fixed beam-scanning microstrip leaky-wave antennas are reported. The beam-scanning ability at a fixed frequency of the antenna can be achieved with novel feeding configurations. Simulation and measurement results show the new feeding structure can make the main lobe gradually scan from 50 to 80° in H-plane when the frequency fixes at 1.12 GHz.
