STUDY ON POWER CAPABILITY AND FLUX-WEAKENING LEVEL OF PERMANENT MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR IN ELECTRIC VEHICLE APPLICATION (II)-POWER CAPABILITY WHEN MAXIMUM INPUT POWER FLUX-WENKENING CONTROL AND ITS EQUIVALENT CONTROL

The phasor method is adopted to analyze the loci of voltage and current and power capability of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) when it is in the maximum input power flux weakening operating mode, then the equivalent current control strategy of maximum input flux control is described. The description of the PMSM's flux weakening adjusting speed capability is worked out and exprssed with the demagnetizing coefficient and saliency ratio, by which the radical methods to enhance the PMSM's flux weakening capability are concluded. The effect of other factors such as loss, saturation, on the power capability and flux weakening level is analyzed at last.
