Efficient implementation of inter-regional transactions

In this paper we describe the provision of transmission in the multiple regional setting. In each region it is assumed that a separate market structure and tariff system exist. It is shown that the new structure is essential for fostering the operation and planning of the interconnected electric power network while ensuring reliability.
