Knowledge characterization and evolution methodology of emergency scenario based on hybrid Petri net

Accident scenario is the foundation of the emergency response. In order to characterize the scenario more systematically and comprehensively, the methodology based on hybrid Petri net was brought from the starting point of scenario-response, in which both the discrete event of scenario and continuous progress of the evolution were characterized clearly. Standardized descriptions of different scenario stages were achieved by the introducing of knowledge element model and hierarchical theory to express the elements of accident scenario. The application study indicated that both the logic form of hybrid Petri net and feature of attribute expression by knowledge element model were revealed. The scenario situation and evolvement process of the emergent events were presented more comprehensively and it will provide more suggestions for the establishment of emergency knowledge base based on the formalized expression of emergency knowledge.
