Introduction Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) are one of the very attractive nano-materials as an additive of nanocomposites due to their unique electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties. However, it is well-known that as-received CNTs are strongly aggregated due to large surface energy, which is crucial problem for fabricating the CNT dispersed nanocomposites. In order to fabricate the nanocomposite with homogeneous microstructure, electrostatic adsorbed assembly technique was developed by present authors. In this study, SWCNT dispersed Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) nanocomposite having a CNT nanochannels in the PMMA matrix was successively fabricated via an electrostatic adsorbed assembly technique. It is concluded that the proposed technique will be one of the simplest and the most versatile processing tool for fabricating the composite with homogeneous microstructure.
