InP Photonic IC-based transmitters, receivers, and transceivers for regional and metro networks

Infinera is a pioneer in large-scale Photonic Integrated Circuit technology for long-haul DWDM systems. In this paper we report on recent progress in adapting the PIC technology for the fast-growing regional and metro cloud applications.
