A novel method for 2-D spatial spectrum estimation of wideband signals

We propose a new method for two-dimensional direction-of-arrival estimation of wideband sources by constructing a SC-DOA-matrix. The theoretical analysis shows that this method can be applied to both wideband and narrowband cases without any 2D search and that the 2D parameters can be automatically paired. Besides, the wideband interference and additive noise can be mulled out via exploitation of cyclostationarity, thus the signal detection capability of the algorithm is significantly improved.
