Blind Adaptive Time Domain Equalizer for OFDM System

In orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), a time-domain equalizer can reduce intersymbol interference by shortening the effective duration of the channel impulse response. In this paper, we propose a novel blind time domain adaptive channel equalization algorithm for OFDM system, the cost function is inspired from MSSNR algorithm and the statistics relationship of the samples in the same symbol block. Computer simulation results are provided to compare the performance of the proposed algorithm with MERRY algorithm and non-blind, non-adaptive MSSNR algorithm.
