The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) teaching methods are applied to the course of Computer – Aided Design ( CAD) . Every student is asked to finish an assigned design, while he must arouse his learning initiative and potentiality. The understanding of the PBL teaching method and its application is induced. Some cases are enumerated to show the effects of de-veloping students’ practice ability, self-culture ability and cre-ativity.
