Continuous-wave operation of long-wavelength GaInNAs/GaAs quantum well laser

A long-wavelength GaInNAs/GaAs quantum-well laser has been developed that operates under a continuous wave at 77 K. Extremely high temperature performance is expected due to superior electron confinement in the well layer.
