An Improved Radar Detection Algorithm Based on Hough Transform

In this paper, we propose a modified Hough Transform algorithm for radar detection by shifting the parameter space cells. In our method those data with the same arrival time are mapped to the parameter space simultaneously. As a result, the computational complexity is reduced. Unlike the conventional Hough transform, those trajectories whose intercept exceed the radar maximum range can also be detected in our method. In addition, we investigate the performance of the algorithm and show its efficiency by means of simulations.
