Design of a Pineapple Picker with Self-locking and Self-adaptive Flexible Claws

According to the structures and the growth characteristics of pineapple plants, a pineapple picker was designed to assist the single-person operation. The design scheme ingeniously combines the connecting rod principle into an adaptive and flexible mechanical claw mechanism, which can adapt to picking pineapples of different sizes and prevent pineapple surface from being damaged. At the same time, it has the self-locking function, which can firmly hold the pineapple and prevent the pineapple from falling off by itself. This design can prevent the pickers from being cut by the pineapple leaves, facilitate and quickly pick the pineapples, and improve the picking efficiency.
