The invention relates to a method for the continuous treatment of objects in a processing device, wherein the articles along a processing means passing through the transport path are moved by means of a first linearly acting reciprocating movement applying conveyor and the articles being fed via a transfer device on the transport path are taken or from this. In order to allow continuous treatment with structurally simple measures, without affecting that parasitic depositions or high temperatures the procedure, it is proposed that the objects are arranged on supports which by means of at least two first linearly acting reciprocation exerting conveyors on the transport path strung together and are then conveyed continuously through the processing means, said juxtaposition and then continuous conveying of the support is performed such that one of the first conveyors anreiht a transferred to the transport track support to existing on the conveying path carriers, while the other first conveying device previously juxtaposed carrier continuously promotes.
