Analysis to the Factors Which Affect the Stability of Rock Slopes with Single Broken-line Slip Surface

This paper studies the stability influence factors with specific reference to rock slopes with single broken-line slip surface.Firstly, orthogonal tests were performed to analyze the sensitivity of factors which influence the stability of rock slopes with single broken-line slip surface. It was concluded from the sensitivity analysis that cohesion of the downslide surface, the slope height, slope angle, and the friction angle of the downslide surface have higher levels of sensitivity than other factors. After that,an analysis was performed on the sensitivity of physical and mechanical parameters of the sliding surface which are generally more concerned in engineering and conclusions were drawn regarding the the influence on stability coefficient with constant or variable cohesions.
