Video Recording as the Reflexive Preservation and Configuration of Phenomenal Features for Analysis

The use of video is becoming a widespread practice within the social sciencesinterested in the real-time production of social life – and not only within special-ized research areas dealing with the visual, such as visual sociology or anthropol-ogy and the studies of gesture and multimodality.
