Trust-Oriented Research Methods in Cloud Environment

One of the obvious challenges in cloud environments is trust crisis and its influence on the development of cloud computing. This paper analyzes the similarities and differences between cloud computing and other distributed environments, proposes the concept of trust and three different directions of trust-oriented research in cloud environments. According to three directions of trust-oriented research, this paper mainly reviews the main methods and key techniques of trust-oriented research in cloud environment. In addition, this paper analyzes difficulties and hot spots for trust-oriented research in cloud environment. At the last, this paper argues that building and guaranteeing a trust mechanism is of great significance for market of the cloud services in the future.
