Evaluation Model of Urban Low-Carbon Competitiveness and Empirical Research of Shanghai

As a developing country with a population of 1.3 billion,China must improve the level of urban low-carbon competitiveness to realize the decoupling development of the social welfare with the increasing carbon emission.Hence,it is necessary to develop a model for the evaluation of the urban low-carbon competitiveness in China.In this paper,evaluation indicator system includes low-carbon environment competitiveness,low-carbon economy competitiveness and low-carbon society competitiveness.Meanwhile,a grey evaluation model,which is well adaptive to nonlinear characteristic of urban system,was established based on the theory of grey.Finally,the evaluation model in this paper is used to evaluate the low-carbon competitiveness of Shanghai.
