Energy-efficiency study of optical OFDM in data centers

This paper presents a study on the energy efficiency of adaptive optical OFDM in data center's networks. The DSP architecture of the proposed scheme is targeted to an FPGA and achieves more than 70% lower energy consumption compared to conventional OFDM modulation.
