Overview of Power Optimization of Integrated Circuits

Currently used methods for IC power dissipation design can be classified as dynamic optimization and static optimization.Both of them are investigated extensively.Typical algorithms among each category are introduced in detail.Then the hot issues such as design of microcontroller,dynamic power management and dynamic voltage scaling are studied.Problems that remain unsolved are summarized.
