The Dore Lake Complex is an Archean layered intrusion in the Chibougamau area, Quebec. The complex has been folded and metamorphosed to the greenschist facies. The sill-shaped Chibougamau Pluton intrudes the Dore Lake Complex at the level of the Anorthosite Zone, hiding from view the lower 4,000 ft of the complex. The Lower Hidden Zone could contain important deposits of chromite and platinum-group metals.
