Study of the e⁺e⁻→π⁺π⁻π⁰ process using initial state radiation with BABAR

The process e (cid:1) e (cid:2) ! (cid:3) (cid:1) (cid:3) (cid:2) (cid:3) 0 (cid:4) has been studied at a center-of-mass energy near the (cid:3) (cid:5) 4 S (cid:6) resonance using a 89 : 3 fb (cid:2) 1 data sample collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II collider. From the measured 3 (cid:3) mass spectrum we have obtained the products of branching fractions for the ! and (cid:8) mesons, B (cid:5) ! ! e (cid:1) e (cid:2) (cid:6) B (cid:5) ! ! 3 (cid:3) (cid:6) (cid:7) (cid:5) 6 : 70 (cid:8) 0 : 06 (cid:8) 0 : 27 (cid:6) (cid:9) 10 (cid:2) 5 and B (cid:5) (cid:8) ! e (cid:1) e (cid:2) (cid:6) B (cid:5) (cid:8) ! 3 (cid:3) (cid:6) (cid:7) (cid:5) 4 : 30 (cid:8) 0 : 08 (cid:8) 0 : 21 (cid:6) (cid:9) 10 (cid:2) 5 and evaluated the e (cid:1) e (cid:2) ! (cid:3) (cid:1) (cid:3) (cid:2) (cid:3) 0 cross section for the e (cid:1) e (cid:2) center-of-mass energy range 1.05 to 3.00 GeV. About 900 e (cid:1) e (cid:2) ! J= (cid:4) ! (cid:3) (cid:1) (cid:3) (cid:2) (cid:3) 0 (cid:4) events have been selected and the branching fraction B (cid:5) J= ! (cid:3) (cid:1) (cid:3) (cid:2) (cid:3) 0 (cid:6) (cid:7) (cid:5) 2 : 18 (cid:8) 0 : 19 (cid:6) % has been measured.
