Design and implementation of FPGA-based car with automatic driving control system

This paper studied and designed a car automatic driving control system. This system design was based on a dual- core FFT processor which used the pipeline structure CORDIC algorithm. The system analysised the voice signal spectrum and extracted MFCC voice characteristics to which will be compared with the data in the template library,and generated a control signal. Finally,the wireless communication module which was controlled by the FPGA would give some basic operation command of the voice control. The system was downloaded on the DE2 experimental development platform and the test results showed that it can response to the voice commands in real- time. The system had many good features such as simple hardware structure,real- time,high reliability and it could be widely used in the field of voice recognition control systems.
