Distributed Ledger Technologie (DLT) im Kontext europäischer Vertrauensdienste

Die EU versucht mit Hilfe der in der eiDAS-VO eingeführten qualifizierten Vertrauensdienste eine Basis für eine europaweite, sichere und rechtsgültige elektronische Kommunikation und sichere elektronische Identifizierung zu schaffen. Während qualifizierte Vertrauensdienste von ihren Nutzern im Kern das Vertrauen in zentrale Dritte (Trusted Third Parties) fordern, wächst das Interesse an Distributed Ledger Technologie und ihre Anwendungen mit ihrem dezentralen Ansatz.
