A WSNs MAC protocol for broadcasting events

The dynamic change of the data-flow and the number of contending nodes caused by the broadcasting events in WSNs is researched.Sift protocol is studied in-depth and a new adaptive protocol A-Sift is proposed.A-Sift,solves the problems in Sift of the adaptability to the dynamic topology and the changes of contending nodes via dynamic scheduling concessions and priority-distinguish method.The simulation results show that A-Sift enables better adaptability and better transmission efficiency and delay characteristics than Sift.
