INVESTIGATION ON THE AERODYNAMIC AND AEROACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE OF AXIAL FAN WITH LOW PRESSURE AND DISCHARGE

A new experimental method is proposed to obtain aerodynamic and aeroacoustic performance of small axial fan with low pressure in this paper.Based on the method,the performances of fans with different staggers and swept angles are tested and analyzed.The results show that the total pressure and total pressure efficiency of fans with forward swept blades are reduced when the rate of flow Q0.6 m~3/min,but their air noise levels are increased.On the other hand,the research indicates that backward sweeping of blades is beneficial to control the fan's noise.
