Method of resolving multiple jammers for passive monopulse radar

This paper presents a method to resolve multiple jammers within the mainlobe of a passive monopulse radar. First, monopulse radar response to frequency-modulated noise jammers is discussed. By selecting receiver bandwidth properly jamming pulses (receiver output) are separated. Then instantaneous angles of arrival of the jammers are measured. Finally, these angles can be resolved by a statistical method. The method is verified with the results of digital computer simulation.
