What is information warfare? Many articles have used the term in the broadest sense to discuss any conflict in which data is involved, including, for example, hacking attacks on critical national infrastructure. In this sense, any act of cyberwar could be construed as a type of information warfare. But there are other, more nuanced definitions for the term that carry more political undertones.
