Fuzzy MRAS based speed estimation for sensorless stator field oriented controlled induction motor drive

An on-line estimated synchronous speed control using fuzzy MRAS (model reference adaptive system) approach for the sensorless stator field oriented controlled induction motor drive is presented. The proposed skill is based on reactive power observer, in which the traditional PI adaptive mechanism is replaced by adaptive fuzzy ones in MRAS configuration. All the simulation and experimental programs are developed under MATLAB software with Simulink and Real-Time Workshop toolbox. Simulation and experimental results confirm the fuzzy MRAS based estimated speed method can improve the performance for the sensorless stator field oriented controlled induction motor drive, such as robust to parameters variation and fast speed response.
