국제전자무역기반의 근간에 관한 연구

This study is aiming at analyzing the appropriate legal infrastructures that are required to deal with eTrade platform, which changes international transactions from paper based documents to electronic documents. When the internet trade form appeared in the international commercial community, importers, exporters, banks and trade-service providers thought that it would be so soon realized to have foreign trade activities processed electronically. Still the technological development of the last 20 years, since then, have not yet brought about significant influences on the realization of paper less trade practices. It must be difficult to have paper based trade practices changed to processing of electronic documents, which have no reliance and the legal backing as paper documents provides. It has been, however, noted that there are several important reasons that have not been solved reasonably to suit to the electronic situation. With that respect, this article aims at analysing obstacles which must be resolved in order to encourage eTrade and providing resonable solutions thereof.
