Decision Support Framework for the Adoption of Software Development Methodologies

There are many software development methodologies that are used to control the process of developing a software system. No exact system was found which could help the software engineers for selection of best software development methodology. This paper presents s Decision Support Framework, which will assist in determining the best methodology to apply in a software project. With the help of Likert scale we created a rule based model which will help the software engineers to select an appropriate development methodology that may increase the probability of system success.
