Method and system for uplink signal synchronization

A method for uplink signal synchronization is disclosed in the present invention. The method includes the following steps: adopting the synchronization information of the uplink carriers for which uplink synchronization has already been achieved by the user terminal to assist the target uplink carriers to implement uplink synchronization. A system for uplink signal synchronization is also disclosed in the present invention. The system includes an uplink synchronization implementation unit, which is used for adopting the synchronization information of the uplink carriers for which uplink synchronization has already been achieved by the user terminal to assist the target uplink carriers to realize uplink synchronization. Applying the method and system of the present invention can implement uplink signal synchronization of multiple carrier systems, and improve the system performance.
