총체적 재생 관점에서 본 발리문 재생사례의 정비과정과 주민참여

To restore the housing culture, which is centered around deteriorated apartments, not the existing redevelopment method, but urban regeneration technical development and system maintenance by holistic regeneration is being accomplished, but there are insufficient number of related cases in Korea yet. Ballymun newsletter recorded successful stories of holistic regeneration in Ballymun residential area, and it shows extensive process of how residential areas are created in various forms and by methods as large-scale apartment complexes are removed step by step. Accordingly, examples of Ballymun regeneration would be analyzed in holistic regeneration perspective, and public participation technique and methods to activate citizen participation, which played influence in this progress, would be studied in this study. From business process which was executed in 1997, 1 year newsletters that fall under 6,7 year were used as subject, and 3 researchers analyzed over 3 times on 5 areas of regeneration, public participation method, and public participation enabling plan on 106 articles. When characteristics of residents' participation enabling method is summarized from holistic regeneration process, first, participation method is very diverse, second, residents have strong affinity, and third, various methods are being used according to the resident characteristics. Also, in terms of characteristics of holistic regeneration, first, the role of social regeneration in physical environmental change is critical, second, enhancing emotional acceptance of residents in residents' participation enabling method aspect is very important, and third, recording and sharing its process and result is important for residents' participation. By analyzing the actual extent of coverage on maintenance coverage, residents' participation method, and residents' participation enabling plan in holistic regeneration perspective, this study is intended to be used as data when making specific plan for urban regeneration around residents' participation.
