Exploring the Impact of New Traffic Law Implementing for Driver Risk Awareness

To explore the impact of New Traffic Law implementing for the driver risk awareness and its relationship with driver behavior, and establish driver's subjective assessment model of risk awareness. This study established risk awareness subjective evaluation model. Driving behaviors and driver risk awareness have a linear relationship according to the regression analysis. There was a significant negative correlation between risk tolerance and the driver behavior. The results showed that the overall level of the driver risk awareness is low. It suggests that New Traffic Law may have effects on improving the driver risk awareness. Subjective evaluation model can be used to assess the level of driver risk awareness in the future.
