Design of persimmon growing stage monitoring system using image recognition technique

One of the most important element for human survival is agricultural production. In order to provide efficient crop production, a lot of automotive devices and techniques are used in the farmland. In this paper, we proposed a farmland IoT and crops growth monitoring system to improve the crops production. We design and deploy weather boxes and wifi cameras in the field to collect weather data and images of the plant. Then, the system can observe the changes of weather and crops growth in detail frequently. The system can notify farmers about the growth stages, then the farmers can take suitable agricultural tasks for their crops. The experimental results show that the system can identify growth stage correctly.
