SYNTHESIS AND BASE-CATALYZED PROTODESILYLATION OF 5-(SILYLMETHYLTHIO)-3(2H)-PYRIDAZINONE DERIVATIVES

Abstract A series of 2-tert-butyl-4-chloro-5-(silylmethylthio)-3(2H)-pyridazinone derivatives 1 was synthesized. Their structures were confirmed by 1HNMR, IR, MS and elemental analysis. Under mild conditions, base-catalyzed protodesilylation of 1 occurred extremely easily. Substituent effects on this reaction were discussed.
