Abstract : A computer program that utilizes the method of integral relations has been developed at the Naval Ship Research and Development Center for use in determining the inviscid transonic flows past lifting airfoils. It allows for a change of entropy across the shock wave and accounts for the presence of an oblique or normal shock at the shock foot. Since many iteractions of the trial and error type are required to obtain the converged flow solution, the program has been adapted for use on the interactive graphic systems of the CDC 6700 computer. This minimizes the man-machine interaction time involved with such iterations. It has been applied to several airfoil cases with supercritical flow on the upper surface and subcritical flow on the lower surface. The theoretical basis for this program has previously been reported. This report documents the computer program which is written in the language of FORTRAN Extended Version 3. 0. (Author)
