Fuzzy Adaptive Backstepping Decentralized Control for Switched Nonlinear Large-Scale Systems with Switching Jumps

Abstract In this paper, the problem of fuzzy adaptive state-feedback control is investigated for a class of switched uncertain nonlinear large-scale systems. The considered uncertain nonlinear large-scale systems contain nonlinear uncertainties, switching jumps, and switching signals. Fuzzy logic systems are employed to approximate the unknown nonlinear uncertainties, and based on the adaptive backstepping method and the dwell-time property of the switching signal, an adaptive fuzzy state-feedback decentralized control scheme is developed. It is proved that the proposed adaptive fuzzy decentralized control scheme can guarantee that all the variables in the closed-loop system are bounded. Moreover, the tracking errors are ensured to converge to a small neighborhood of the origin. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
