Numerical Simulation of Variable Blank Holder Force in Box Deep Drawing

The trends of BHF control theory home and abroad were summarized and the main difficulties of BHF control were discussed. Several methods of acquiring optimized BHF control curve of the typical parts were proposed. Research emphasis lies on acquiring the optimized BHF control curve of cup drawing process. A new method that combines the optimizing method, numerical simulation and NN was used. The satisfied results in comparison with the constant BHF control were obtained.
