"Centralized stand alone PV system in microgrid in Morocco"

Most of the small villages of southern Morocco are not connected to the conventional electric network. Construction of autonomous photovoltaic systems is a good solution to supply electric power to these isolated villages. The Iberoamerica-Europe Foundation (CIPIE), along with the solar energy institute (IES), ISOFOTON.SA and Tichka Association carried out the installation of two of this system in two villages in Ourzazate and Zagora provinces, in Morocco. The project was funded by the Spanish agency for international cooperation (AECI).
