A link establishment method, base station, and system. The method comprises: a first base station and a second base station establishing a second link through a first link between the first base station and the second base station; and the first base station and the second base station performing communication through the first link and/or the second link. In the link establishment method, base station, and system according to embodiments of the present invention, a second link is established between two base stations through an existing first link, so that the two base stations can perform communication through the first link and/or the second link, which can satisfy a service requirement whiling saving an air interface link resource to the greatest extent.
