Multiprocessor processing system

THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A MULTIPROCESSOR PROCESSING SYSTEM. THIS SYSTEM COMPRISES SEVERAL MODULES 33 OF PROCESSORS INTERCONNECTED BY TWO LINES 35, CHECKED EACH BY A CONTROLLER 37. CONTROLLER 41 A MULTIPLE INPUTS 43 ARE CONNECTED BY LINES 39 TO MODULES 33 OF PROCESSORS. EACH CONTROLLER INCLUDES A LOGIC THAT ENSURES THE SELECTION OF AN ACCESS ENTRY BOTH. THE PROCESSOR MODULES CONTAIN EACH CONTROL 55 BETWEEN PROCESSORS, A CENTRAL UNIT 105, A MEMORY 107 AND A CHANNEL 109 INPUT-OUTPUTS. AN ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM PROVIDES CONTINUOUS OPERATION OF THE REST OF THE TREATMENT SYSTEM IN CASE OF FAILURE TO SUPPLY A PART OF THE SYSTEM. IN THE CONTEXT OF A MULTIPROGRAMMING OPERATION, PROGRAMS ARE PROTECTED AGAINST USERS 'ACTIONS. THIS INVENTION IS IN PARTICULAR APPLICABLE TO THE MANAGEMENT OF AUTOMATED SALES POINTS, INVENTORIES AND CREDIT OPERATIONS, AS WELL AS AUTOMATED FUNDS TRANSFERS.
