Structural design of a networked controller using embedded technology

Networked control systems combine the control technology and networked information technology and have received much attention for control systems.Most research on networked control has focused on the stability of the control system.However,a lack of experimental research has constrained the development of networked control systems.This paper presents a hardware design method for an embedded high-performance networked controller and an inverted pendulum networked control experiment based on this controller.The pendulum swings in a small region around the vertical in a stable system.The experimental results demonstrate how this networked controller provides control and network communications.The networked controllers are used in many university laboratories at home and abroad.
