Management in multimedia cooperative applications

The goal is to describe a model for management in cooperative applications. This model is part of a more complex architecture for real-time multimedia cooperative applications. The authors present the cooperative application model and architecture, and position and justify the need for management functions in such applications. They suggest and discuss a generic architecture for the management of cooperative applications. A set of management functions is described which is of importance in cooperative applications. For each of these functions a representation using the Abstract Syntax Notation One (ASN1) is provided.<<ETX>>
