BEHAVIOR OF TWO-SPAN CONTINUOUS BRIDGE UNDER TRUCK AXLE LOADING. DISCUSSION

A discussion of a paper with the aforementioned title by Tiedeman, Albrecht, and Cayes, published in this journal (Volume 119, Number 4, April 1993), is presented. The discussion focuses on the use of a particular simplified analysis method and its applicability to this study. In addition, Aswad comments that certain variable definitions should be revised when using cutomary units of the United States.
