It is urgent to implement impact strategies in the training students in order to develop their talents for the knowledge society, considering the current changes in primary, secondary and higher education. The Purpose of the study is to show the teaching strategy of formative projects as central axis to train students and transform the education centered in contents. As methodology, the study makes a conceptual analysis about formative projects under the socio-formation setting based on the conceptual cartography. As conclusions, the following research has contributed to clarify the methodology of formative project. Also, it is necessary to develop field research about its impact in the competencies training.
